Pricing and billing

Is this a subscription?

No. Inbox Maid is a one-time $49.99 purchase.

Why do I need an OpenAI API key?

Inbox Maid uses a bring-your-own-key model. You control model usage and pay OpenAI directly.

Are OpenAI costs included?

No. OpenAI bills your account separately for API usage.

How many devices can I use?

2 active devices per license. Deactivate the old device before activating a new one.

Setup

What do I need before first run?

  • License key (after purchase)
  • OpenAI API key
  • Gmail account
  • Windows 10 or 11

How do I activate my license?

Purchase → copy key from receipt email → paste on first launch → Activate.

Does the app work without Gmail?

No. Gmail authorization is required for inbox features.

Safety

Does the app permanently delete emails?

No. Delete candidates are moved to Gmail Trash.

Can I undo applied runs?

Yes — Run History & Undo → Restore Last Applied Changes for the most recent applied run when rollback metadata exists.

What is Preview mode?

Default mode. Analyzes inbox without Gmail changes. Review first, then enable apply.

Privacy

Where are credentials stored?

Windows Credential Manager (secure OS storage).

What does Delete local data remove?

Local app files, license cache, legal acceptance state, and stored API/OAuth credentials.

What Gmail disclosures does the app show?

Pre-consent and Google Limited Use disclosures during setup and in Settings. Same text on our Security page.
